FAQ

  • Why won't my piston move a block?

Some blocks are immovable: obsidian, bedrock, extended pistons, portal blocks, enchantment tables (Java with certain states), and blocks with tile entities like chests if the move would break structure.

  • How do I make a double extender?

Use a sequence of pulses separated by repeaters/observers so the second piston extends after the first retracts—tutorials often use quasi-connectivity and falling-edge circuits.
