FAQ

  • Why is my observer not firing?

Observers detect block state changes, not all visual changes. Ensure the observing face points at the block you expect to update and that a real block update occurs (e.g. crop growth, block place, fluid flow).

  • Which side is the output?

The face with the small red dot (opposite the observing face) emits the redstone pulse.

  • How long is the pulse?

Observers output a 2‑game‑tick (1 redstone tick) pulse—use a monostable or repeater chain to extend it.
