Smithing Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1x Diamond Helmet
- 1x Netherite Ingot
- 1x Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template
Note: Upgrading diamond items to netherite requires a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template. These can be found in Bastion Remnants chests. The template is consumed when used, but can be duplicated using an existing template, netherrack, and diamonds.
Step-by-step Instructions
- Place a Smithing Table and open it.
- Insert the required items into the Smithing slots: Diamond Helmet + Netherite Ingot + Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template.
- Take the upgraded Netherite Helmet from the output slot.

Diamond Helmet: Gather Diamond Helmet via its typical source (looting, mining, farming, or trading).
Netherite Ingot: Combine 4 Netherite Scraps (from Ancient Debris) with 4 Gold Ingots; upgrade gear via Smithing.
Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template: Gather Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template via its typical source (looting, mining, farming, or trading).

Fun Fact
A Netherite helmet provides 3 armor points (1.5 armor icons), the same as Diamond, but with higher durability, knockback resistance, and lava immunity.
