The strongest chest armor in Minecraft, providing maximum protection and special benefits.
Smithing Recipe:
Note: Upgrading diamond items to netherite requires a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template. These can be found in Bastion Remnants chests. The template is consumed when used, but can be duplicated using an existing template, netherrack, and diamonds.
Smithing Steps
- Place and open a Smithing Table.
- Insert: Diamond Chestplate + Netherite Ingot + Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template then add the required template if shown.
- Take the upgraded Netherite Chestplate from the output slot.

Diamond Chestplate: Gather Diamond Chestplate via its typical source (looting, mining, farming, or trading).
Netherite Ingot: Combine 4 Netherite Scraps (from Ancient Debris) with 4 Gold Ingots; upgrade gear via Smithing.
Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template: Gather Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template via its typical source (looting, mining, farming, or trading).
