FAQ
Why doesn’t my beacon show a beam?
Ensure there are no opaque blocks above it to the sky. Glass and stained glass are fine (stained glass recolors the beam), but solid blocks will block it.
I placed a beacon but get no effects—why?
Build a mineral pyramid (iron/gold/emerald/diamond/netherite blocks), then open the UI, pick an effect, and insert an ingot or gem to activate.
